Hello, does anyone have any advice for trying to trace siblings of my father who were put into a home for boys in the 40's, I don't have any names just birth parents names, dob's and marriage details. Many thanks if anyone can help Nichola |

Do you know how many you are searching for and whether they are older or younger than your father.? You can search the GRO index on Ancestry...It's FREE, just register then search the full birth index, a quarter at a time until you find the right surname with the same maiden name as on your father's entry. These MAY be the siblings, you need certificates to prove they are the correct people as the name combination could just be a coincidence. Gwyn |
