My Great Grandfather Charles Ibbott b 1866 d. 1951 lived in St Ives, Huntingdonshire all his life. He was described on his death cert as a thatcher and hedger. I feel sure such a person would have been well known in the community, where could I find any info about him? Many thanks for your help

The local church(es) will have websites and probably parish magazines. From the website you ought to b eable to make contact. Find the parish magazine and it may well have an obituary. Clive Clive
