Hi, I recently purchased a death certificate. The name and address of the witness was given along with her address and relationship to the deceased. With this information, that the witness was her cousin I was able to use the census and find the link to the deceased bringing a whole new family line into my tree. Well worth the purchase. Thats great and copies of certificates have helped me many times but the last 2 death certs I bought had people's names as informants who meant nothing to me and no help at all. Still nice to have the certificates and the actual date of death. Good luck with your research. Irene

How true Paul.......... I brought a Marriage cert, and found out that my Great Grand Father was married before....................
