I have found my 3X Great Grandmother Amelia Matilda Shearley living in Ringwood Workhouse in the 1841 census with her brother Thomas. 10 years on and I have found Amelia in the 1851 census she is a servant and is called Matilda Shearley. However I am unable to find anything at all on Thomas after the 1841 census, not even a death record. ( Variations on surname also tried) I seem to have come to a dead end on Thomas, any suggestions on where to go from here would be greatfully received. Many Thanks

Sylvia and Rose what can I say? You are absolute stars! I think looking at it one of my main problem is the various spellings of the surname. I will look into the Thomas Sharland Death and Yes Harriets maiden name was Street and I will investigate the Ballard marriage. Thank you so much for your help!
