Just a little extra information, the Regiment were stationed in Minden, Germany from February 1966-April 1969. Having spent many years with 1DERR, I may well know your couple. Jennifer

Hi Yes they married in Devizes in wiltshire, this is where the Bride was born and grew up, dont know too much about him other than he was 23 when they married. Thank you

1DERR stand for The 1st. Bn. The Duke of Edinburgh's Regiment (Berkshire & Wiltshire) The amalgamated with the Gloucesters in 1994 and became 1RGBW, from this year they are now the Royal Gloucestershire, Berkshire and Wiltshire lighr Infantry. Hi I have just received a certificate for a marriage in 1968 for the Groom's occupation it says Cpl, HMF IDERR Sec Comd - I know it is the forces, but which one and what does IDERR mean? Would be very grateful if anyone could help. Thanks
