Grandad died in 1945 in Bow Road.Have been told he was buried in a Tottenham cemetery that is no longer there.He lived in Bethnal Green so i thought he would have been buried in Hackney? Annie |

Hi Annie. I dont know if this will help but it's worth a try. Parish Churches in Tottenham: All Hallows St Mary the Virgin St Michael (Wood Green) St Benet St Philip St Ann Holy Trinity All Hallows is the only one that still has a cemetery, the one you mean must i would think have been atached to one of the other churches. The Vicar of St Mary the Virgin has a write up on Genuki and seems pretty keen to help and answer any queries and you can mail him direct from the churches website. He may know the answer to your question or be able totell you about someone who does...or...you could try mailing or phoning the other churches direct |

Does anyone know the name of the cemetery in Tottenham North London that closed and is now used as a green with some benches in? Annie |
