Hi all I've lost Annie and can't find her anywhere What I do know is: Annie Keating b abt 1887 Wigan Lanc's 1901 Census age 14 Township of Manchester Poor Law School Swinton. 1908 Marries Arthur Ellison in Wigan. Try as I may I can't find her in either: Registers of Birth 1891 Census Maybe I can't see the wood for the trees or maybe there's no wood at all. Off to open another bottle of Stella, I need it!! Thanks in advance L |

I don't think the Prescot birth will be correct. There is an Annie Keating born c1887 born Widnes (which is in the Prescot area) and she's with her parents in 1901. |

Can I ask what makes you think she was born Wigan? If you dont know her father's name its a bit difficult to be sure which she could be. Best wait till you have the marriage cert. I think to be sure. The only Annie Keatings registration I have found are 1 registered Oldham, in 1886 which covers Alkrington, Chadderton, Crompton, Middleton, Oldham, Royton, Thornham and Tonge the other was a Salford registered birth in 1885 which covers Broughton, Pendlebury, Pendleton and Salford. |
