I've got a marriage in Bombay and have a LDS film no, a vol no and a folio no. How do I go about ordering the certificate? Thanks |

You could try exploring this site, part of the British Library. Hope it helps. http://www.bl.uk/collections/iorfamhi.html |

Hi Linda The marriage was in 1908 and it is recorded on FIBIS. I've phoned the General Record Office tonight and they said that if the marrige was approved by the British Government, then a copy could be obtained from them. They are going to search for me and if it's not there, will just charge me for the search. Thanks anyway |
