As someone else has already mentioned, I do this on Family Tree Maker. However, I was wondering whether anyone that uses PAF (free from familysearch, org) would know whether PAF would allow you to do this. They then could import it as a gedcom file? |

Yes, if you connect them by marriage in PAF & then import to GR they do not need to be duplicated to show the proper relationship here. The full tree view gets confused (if I recall), but individual lines are fine. BTW, when you create the GEDCOM file, it is very easy indeed to hide all identifying details about the living (including yourself), so that the information is not just hidden from shared GR trees, but also hidden from searches against the GR database. |

It's very easy to do on Familytree Maker but impossible on Genes. |

Not on genes tree i,m afraid the only thing you can do is to make note of the connection in the notes box for each person |

I'm looking for some help and advice. I've already got more than 200 names in my family tree and on more than a couple of occasions, there are links between my mothers family and my fathers family i.e. my great aunt on my mother's side married my great uncle on my dad's side - is there anyway that this link shows in the family tree? Any hints or tips would be greatly appreciated! |
