Whoever you decide on to print your tree please make sure that they are registered under the Data Protection Act so the safety of your data is guaranteed and that their Terms and Conditions comply with the European Distance Selling Regulations (Internet Laws) and the Consumer Protection Act. Also that they can accept Credit Card payments by telephone, if they can then they are a 'proper' company or Sole Trader. In order to take credit card payments by phone you have to have your accounts and business practise and internal security policies vetted by the finance companies, only a 'proper' trader will have gone through this process. I am compiling my family tree for an anniversary present but can only find companies in the USA who turn your tree into either a poster, picture or something which can be displayed. Does anyone know of a company based in the UK who do this sort of thing?
