If anyone as the time could they look to see if they can find William Henry Stubbs born 1862. Matlock or Wirksworth. Derby he married Amelia Wanklin 1881 Warwickshire, I have found both of them 1891 and only Amelia 1901 but cant seem to find William anywhere. Thanks in advance. Libby

Yes Emily, Jessy, Minnie,Laura,William,Albert,Annie, Leah, and Herbert all born between 1883 -1901. All born in Warwickshire Libby

Hi Libby, where have you found them on the 1891 ? I can't seem to find them. I notice that Amelia is stated as married on the 1901 and there is no husband but a Baby Stubbs. Joan

1891 for info, mistranscribed Stubbe: 33 Albion C., Yardley, Worcestershire William H. Stubbs, head, 29, circular sawyer, born Matlock, Derbyshire Amelia, wife, 30 Emily, dau, 8 Alice, dau, 4 Minnie, dau, 2 May, dau, 10 months Emma Wankling, mother, widow, 72 All born Birmingham except William H.

I just can't find him in 1901. He can't be too far away surely? There's a newborn babe in the household, not even named yet. Margaret

I just cant understand where he can be. Can anyone read the address on the 1901 census please? Libby

345 Golden Hillock Rd, Yardley. Taking another look; do you think this is the same Amelia as the 1891 Amelia ? The childrens names don't match up. Joan

Thanks for the address Joan, Yes this is definately the same Amelia, for some reason some of the children are using their second names as they did for most of their life. Also she as her mother living with her which is Emma Wanklin. Libby
