Catholic church records, trying to trace my Shenton family for about 8years now, have them on all census records, but the first birth record i can find is 1844 (civic) I have searched almost all Cof E parish records around the area were they lived and some independent records as well. The only thing I can think is in the early 1800's they could have been Catholic, . Any suggestions would be gratefully received. Gill |
