I have found my Roberts family on the 1841, 1851 and 1871 but can't seem to track them down on the 1861. This is them on the 1841 (Dee Bank, Bagillt, Flintshire): Hugh ROBERTS 30, Smelter. Ellen 25, Sarah 6, Edwin 2yrs 6mths, John 3 mths. And 1851 (still in Bagillt, Flintshire): Hugh ROBERTS 40, Smelter, Eleanor 34, Sarah 15, Edward 12, Mary 8, Ann 6, Elizabeth 3, Eleanor and Lucy 6mths. All born Bagillt. Can anyone help? Thanks, Annette |

I am wondering if Bagillt is missing from the 1861 census. Might explain why they cannot be found. Gail. x |

Gail & Maureen, That could be an explanation - I've searched for their neighbours and they seem to be missing from the 1861 too. Thanks for taking the time to look, Annette |
