Family missing from census..help please

Hi I wonder if anyone can help, I have been helping a friend find her family and have managed to find from when the couple married in 1858 through the census records of 1861,1871,1881 then i got stuck and can't find anything for 1891 but then the lady reappears in 1901 as a widower with living just with one daughter Mary. Mary Ann Hawkins nee Gunter b 1840c Alfred Hawkins b 1837c children Alfred,Alice,Charles,Mary and William. all born and lived in Bristol,Gloucestershire many thanks Nicky.x

The age is a bit out but this is the nearest death I can see for Alfred... Deaths Mar 1885 (>99%) Hawkins Alfred 56 Bristol 6a 26 Georgina.

Hi the death entry i found was 1878 Bristol, i just wondered where they could have got to in 1891 Nicky.x
