I have attached a ladies name to my great-uncle. however I now know that this was her married name. She had children of her own before hand, and at least one other with him. I want to add her previous marriage, and children. how do I re-assign her maiden name to her previous husband Thanks........Its easy on FTM..LOL Bob |

Okay - try this! Open your tree and get the lady in question on the screen. Halfway down the screen, between the tree bit and the personal details bit, are the facilities to add various relatives or Edit. Double click on the Edit button, and 'choose delete this relative'. The get the correct man on the screen and add your lady's details under Add Partner. Hope this works for you - good luck. Carole |

Don't think you need to delete her. Instead edit her surname to unknown (or her real maiden name if you know it) then add her other husband giving him the proper surname. |
