Finding Ancestors In Your Tree

Just a suggestion but could people possibly tell people who they relate to when sending a tree. I have noticed for quite a while now that people send there tree with no detail of who it refers to. I am ok with people who have only say just started out on there quest to find there ancestors and have maybe only 10-20 names in there tree but some people have thousands and it can be a right job finding any connection. Gripe Over. PS, im 30 not 60 LOL |

Hi Mark I think those that allow you to look at their trees without telling you what the connection is have probably made a mistake. When you contact someone via tree matches there is a tick box which is automatically set to show the contact your tree....very naughty of GR in my opinion! You have to uncheck this box in order not to show your tree. It did used to be the other way round. Also, there used to be a facility whereby the people in the tree were listed in alphabetical order. That's also gone too making it even more difficult Jeanette x |
