Hi. My cousin died at the age of 32. His wife married again but each time i try to add her new husband, he is shown as married to my cousin with her away to the side. They also had a son. have tried various ways but end up the same way. Help Anne |

Hi Anne Just had a look at a similar situation in my tree. It isn't actually showing that the new husband is married to your cousin. If you notice, the cousin, wife and new husband are connected by a double line, whereas those that are related ie. kids, are connected by a single line. In my tree the wife is way over to the side as she had 13 children altogether! When adding a child, add it to the father concerned and not the mother....well in this case anyway! |

Thanks Jeanette. I did get the double lines as you said, just thought it looked odd. Had a similar problem with a gt.grandfather, but adding another wife, somehow seems to look clearer, if you see what I meen. Thanks again. Anne |
