I think you need firstly to establish when he died........and where. It may be that it was somewhere other than the area in which he actually lived......... Reg

Hi,my g grandparents told my mum that they went to my gg grandfathers funeral and that he was buried at Stanton Road cemetery ,however I have contacted the Stanton road cemetery and the man sent me a letter saying no records at all ?I paid £5.00 to join the friends of Stanton Road Cemetery ,Ilkeston,Derbyshire so I could find out but he insists that my gg grandfather is not there.I telephoned the cemeterys in Nottingham and Derbyshire but they say I will have to pay £25.00 for a search now of all the cemeterys in the area but why would my g grandmother lie about a funeral?Very strange ,dont you think?Suz. Is there anyone who can find where William Nunn born 1843 Ipswich Suffolk is buried ?he died at Ilkeston,Derbyshire abt 1920 I think.
