I am trying to find my G/G/Grandfather Joseph Thomas c 3.2.1805 Portsea, Hampshire I managed to find him on the 1861 Census Address: Warders Cottage, Winchester working as a Chief Clerk. Then I found him on the 1881 Census living with his daughter and son in law William H Sartain at 55 Ship Street, Brighton, Sussex but where oh where was he in 1871? Can someone please put me out of my misery? Thank you Thelma |
