Hi Brenda, I really don't know which if any are mine John Arnold is such a common name there are about five any of which could be mine and even ordering the certs. are not going to confirm anything, unless you know different of course!!! Enjoy your book. lol

Thanks Brenda, I did find that info a little while back and discarded it but can't remember why. Do you think the DOB would be right as it's 4 yrs. earlier than all the census's say?

I'm stumped at trying to find parents/siblings of John Arnold c1801 born Shoreditch. I discovered his marriage on 12.02.1827 to Mary Allington, I have viewed the microfilm which shows witnesses as John Pickard and Sarah Richard which I think are really John & Sarah PICKARD, if this is so then Sarah is Mary Allingtons sister. On the microfilm John is shown as a widow but I can't find a previous marriage for him. Any ideas please?
