Hi Deffo means definately, Both the Birth & Death were registered in the Dec Quarter each year is divided into four quarters. Mar, Jun, Sep, Dec Each registrations has its own unique number. If you go onto the National Goverment site you can order the certificates on line. http://www.nationalarchives.gov.uk/ PS your not thick we all had to learn |

Hiya Back after quite a while but still new to this. Can anyone advise me. I had a brother born 14/ 15th October 1961 in Redhill Surrey. He died 3 weeks later i think on 3rd November 1961 in Carshalton Surrey. At the time my mum was distressed and my dad and his family registed the death etc. She never saw a death cert. I think there was an inquest at the time. My parents didn't really talk about it much and my dad died 15 years ago. My mum now wants to know more. ( I found out a few years ago from the hospital that none of his organs were kept which is a relief and I have been able to reasure her of this today as she know is showing an interest . My sister who has never researched anything has been trying to find a death cert but says'The government doesn't have any record of his death' I find this hard to believe and thought one of you out there might be able to help. I know you have helped me in the past. His name is Gary James Booth Yours hoping Amanda |
