Quite likely. Even as late as 1901, my grandfather's 10 year old sister was a servant living away from home. Maybe we wouldn't have so many yobs on the streets if we made them earn their living, LOL Kath. x

Husbands ancestors are only children not at home with parents.All separated.Instead of having scholar they have M.S.What does M.S mean? Annie
