windows vista and family tree maker 2006

Hi, I have been using my laptop which has windows xp for my family tree, i then bought a new one which has windows vista, the trouble is i cant seem to install the family tree maker 2006 properly no matter how many times i think i have gone wrong and uninstalled and reinstalled it, can anyone help? Helen x

FTM 2006 will work with Vista, but you need to download the Vista Compatibility update Check out the FTM knowledge base http://tinyurl(.)com/3xz3nb remove brackets
