You could order the marriage certificate that Shirley found and give Samuel as the father's name as a checking point, so you don't get the certificate if the father's name is wrong. If it is the right certificate then you will have her married surname and can look for any other children she may have had and also look for a death for her. Kath. x

yes he was with his grandmother back in BillesdonHe never said anything about his mother only that some of the time a cousin looked after him
