John and Isabelle found in 1891 are together in 1881 with daughter Jane Inskip Peters aged 3. A Jane Peters Inskip was registered in JFM 1878 so I would guess that Isabelle's surname was Inskip. |

The couple Reggie found in 1891 appears to be the same ones I found in 1901. John is a carman in them both I omitted to give you the reference for Isabella RG13/543/73/4 The earlier reference was for John, it was a large workhouse and their entries some way apart. I must bow out now, time to cook dinner. Jennifer |

I lost my granny a while back (census's) but you lot gave me plenty of advice and Janice & Victor kindly found her. Unfortunately, having recently obtained her birth cert, it apppears to be the wrong family. I have searched the 1891 and 1901 census's with no luck - what shall I try now. Here are her details. Martha Emily Peters born 13 April 1888. Parents John George Peters and Isabella Peters nee Keeley in Greenwich East, County of Kent. The date and place of birth are accurate because I am in possession of her death cert which was already in the family, also my aunt confirmed date of birth and area although she refers to it as Deptford (which is within Greenwich East). I just can't find her on a census and I need to, to be able to proceed. Please, Please has anyone any advice. Thanks for reading........Pat |
