Can anyone please advise how to go about obtaining death certs or Social Security card applications for ancestors who lived in USA, thank you. Marviner

Hi Marviner You CAN oder overseas certificates from GRO.On the home page, right hand side. Have a look under the RESEARCH section for overseas records. http://www.gro.gov.uk
