I wonder why this post has been deleted? I have read the terms and conditions very closely and I can find nothing that indicated that I should not do lookups for people. I cannot copy the CDS, charge a fee for lookups, rent it out, etc. I have done none of that, and would not do if I knew it was wrong. As an author myself, I would just not consider it if it were not allowed. Can the Administrator please tell me why my post has been deleted. |

Just a quick thank you to Margaret for finding my 'body' - I'd been trying to find him for a very long time :-) |

I bet you all think I am playing a game, and I wouldn't blame you for thinking that, but believe me I have looked up every one of your requests and (apart from the WONDERFUL ONE TODAY), have found nothing. None of my own rellies (which is what I bought it for). But I assure you I am genuinely checking the index and still wondering why! Mary tells me that Family History On Line uses the NBI, so if you can find your relly on that, and then contact me for the actual graveyard/Churchyard, that has worked. Love to all Margaret |

Folks, it is much better now that I have asked for PMs. BUT.. Please be as precise as you can in giving me locations. My knowledge of Geography ain't great. So is Plymouth in Devon, or is it Cornwall? Is Cardiff in Monmouthshire or Glamorgan, or Timbuktoo? The County is essential. I am doing these searches out of the rich goodness of my heart (?), but please give me as precise info as you can. London is particularly difficult. The NBI has a central London list but also all the peripheral suburbs, towns, districts, boroughs. Please be as exact as you can be, otherwise the search is pretty tortuous. Still only found the one success! Love to all Margaret |

Well, it's that disorganised woman again! Offering stuff she can't deliver. I am now not sure what I have replied to and what not, and I am also not sure how to check! I am still happy to do look ups, but I think I will be better starting again from scratch. I think I would be better if you PMd me, then I don't lose them, and I know how important they are to you all. I'm not terribly good on the website, I am currently also using the Alzheimer's website on behalf of my mother, and that has a different system that I am also struggling with. See also my next post re Bertram Merrell's Marriage Index. Happy to help, maybe I am trying to do too much! Love to all Margaret. |
