Thanks agian for your help. Well Francis married Mary in 1901 in november his age was 21 and a seaman his farther john bye now has died . they went on to have Francis william in 1905 in blyth. Who i think when older joined up and moved to london and went on to meet my wifes gran from wokingham berkshire. regards Paul.

This is the only Francis Woodward I can find in 1901 with a father called John who is a labourer, but they are in the south, so can't see him being in Northumberland to get married later in the year (but you never know). Thought I would have another look at this but still not finding anything at all. Not found him in 1901 census but can find the girl he married in Cowpen, Northumberland. Found nothing to suggest he was born in the area that he married. Maureen

John josiph is down as a gen lab on the marriage cert .Francis and Mary had a son Francis william who was my wife's granfarther born 1905 in blyth .thanks for the help so far paul.
