You could have a look on http://www.lightage(.)demon(.)co(.)uk/ It's called the Black Sheep Index and is a great source of information. Can't find anything on Waspe though., You may have more luck in finding the Coroner's inquest.

You could also look for a newspaper account of the investigation, there should be something in the local paper. It is always worth a try. Jennifer

email the police in that area my grandfather was a police man and i got all his records so they may have kept jobs

Hi Has anyone ever tried to see if they can get a police report/record for an investigation that was carried out 100 years ago? My Great Grandmother committed suicide and a PC Waspe 'investigated' her death. Am I wasting my time seeing if any record was kept?
