Hi everyone, Can anyone tell me if this is right? I've just received a email from genes reunited saying my membership run's out soon, if i want to renew my membership it will cost £9.95 for 6 month's??? I have looked at the board's and some people have paid £9.95 for 12 month's and £7.50 for 6 month's, so i not sure if i should be getting 12 month's or 6 month's. If anyone knows for sure, could you please let me know, also if i have to get in touch with Genes Reunited how do i do this? i have tryed to reply to the email they sent me but it is coming up as a error. Thanks for taking the time to read this and thanks for any reply's. Tracy

As far as I know if you have continuous membership it is £9.95p for 12 months (that's what I paid in January). If you have annual membership or let your membership lapse and then renew it is £9.95p for 6 months - which I think is a bit of a cheek really. If you need to contact GR click on the 'contact us' button at the bottom of the green section on the left of the screen. Kath. x

Hi Tracy My membership was due to renew yesterday, but did it a few weeks back and paid £9:95 for a year. Before it was £7:50 but i had a new credit card so had to give details, been a member for 4 years

Tracy I think it depends on when you joined. The subscription fee changed earlier this year. Previously it cost £9.99 per year, but under the new system which applies to new members, the £9.99 covers a period of just 6 months. If you want to contact GR, go to the 'Contact us' link under the 'Help' heading in the green column to the left of the screen. Regards Amanda

There seems to be no reason why some are charged different amounts. When my 'renew now' sign showed in April, I did so before the due date as the fee was £7.50 for a year and I wanted to take advantage before GR changed their mind. Are you in Kent?...I know a Tracy Negus. Gwyn

Hi Kath, Julie, Amanda and Gwyn Thanks for your reply's. I joined Genes in Feb/mar this year and i paid £9.99 for 6 month's, my subscription run's out on the 4th Aug and i received a email from Genes saying that my payment will be taken automatically and that it would be £9.95 for 6 month's, i thought that this might be wrong because i have seen on these board's that people have paid £9.95 for 12 month's. I will now try to get in touch with them to see if i can get the 12 month deal. Thanks again for your reply's. Gwyn - no i live in East London
