Hi, Does anyone have any suggestions as to how I can find a relative. She was my grandmother's mother and had her children very young in the 1930s. She left her husband and simply disappeared in the early 1940s leaving her children. The only information I have is a common name. I do not know when/where she was born although believe it to be around 1915 and I dont know when she married or when (if) she died. Any suggestions or is it one of those I simply wont find out unless/until I get some further info? Many thanks J |

Do you have your grandmother's birth certificate. That will give you her mother's maiden name and married name. Then you can find the marriage of your gt. grandmother to your gt. grandfather. Good luck Irene |

If you track down her marriage cert, then that will give you an age to work with (may not be accurate!) Are you sure that divorce was not involved? OC |
