I found out what my convict ancestor was accused of by consulting the Quarter Sessions at Norfolk Record Office. Cheers, Horatia

The new transported info now available........you can find the date,ship and destination but can one find out why they were transported??? Kathlyn

If you belong to Ancestry they have just added a new database: Remove asterisks from web address. http://landing.ancestry*co*uk/intl/au/convict/default.aspx?o_iid=32687&o_lid=32687

How do we know if our ancestors were transported? I have several that can't be found on census years. Sue
