Can anyone suggest where I could start to look for my Grandfather's army service records ideally online? I have his Rank, Service Number and Regiment details. I can't travel at the moment so need to do this either on line or by post. My Grandfather was in the Normandy landings but was a very private man so we don't know what else he was involved in. |
