Ancestry says that the rest of the 1911 census will be added "over the next few months". Hopefully that will be before your subscription runs out. |

My understanding was that ancestry would get access to the 1911 records in March or April this year ..... and that they would then begin to transcribe them |

As far as I know, Ancestry propose to add the 1911 census to their existing UK Census Collection, in which case it will be available to Essential Subscribers. They are already working on it, and, as mentioned, the Census summary Books are already available to view, albeit they are of limited value. |

I seem to recall that ancestrys' intention is to scan and make available the images and then add the transcriptions in much the same way as they have with some of the London christenings |

Once find my past had had the complete 1911 census online for six months, then other companies were allowed to apply to transcribe it, and this is being done by both ancestry, and by http://www.thegenealogist.co.uk/ as one can see: http://www.thegenealogist.co.uk/1911/?data=1911TGHP |
