I've got the birth cert. of Charlotte and the mother is named as Charlotte Parsons which leaves me to believe that she is unmarried but if that's the case where does John Parsons come into Charles's marriage cert. |

Even more confused now, this is the first I've seen of William and he was born the same year as Joseph therefore they can't both be Charlottes sons. |

Charles probably made up a father for his marriage. It's not uncommon. |

Thanks Rose for your help. Would you think it was safe to assume that Charlotte Eliza Kernick's three children were the children of John Parsons or that she made him up and that is where the Parsons name first started from? |
