Can anyone help me understand why Maria Spain died 19 Sep 1858 but the probate is dated 20 Aug 1875 also her spouse Thomas died 13 Oct 1858 and probate was 28 July 1875. The records are listed with Maria first then underneath Thomas. |

There may have been conditions in the actual Will that expired in 1875. |

Thank you so so much for your help. That makes a lot of sense Bren, that having to pay off debts would make it a long drawn out affair and more understandable why there were so many years gone by. |
