Happens all the time DF. A lot of people don't understand how these boards work and expect to be advised by GR when there are replies on their thread. Also, they don't realise how quickly they may get replies, so don't hang around on the boards. |

Jack, I wouldn't restrict his return to Scottish ports - the main ports for entry into the UK from America would probably have been Liverpool or Southampton in England. |

Can some point me to shipping lists of people coming back to Scotland. Years would be about 1924 to 1930. Name John Steele b 1878 Glasgow, Scotland. I know that he did go to the states in 1923 but did he go back to Scotland to marry after he was established in the US. |
