Try looking him up on the CWGC site as suggested. Sometimes it says 'no results' but worth checking again as the site sometimes has gives a false response - probably because of a high usage at the time. |

CWGC records all deaths of serving soldiers - even if he'd gotten run over by a bus on Oxford St whilst home on leave. |

I have a relative died in 1916. His death was reg in England, does that mean he was definitely NOT killed in the War ? I can't find his exact details at CWGC |
