Yes that is him in 1871 as well. It is only the 1891 census that I do not have. Thank you for your searching

Unable to find him in either England or Scotland 1891. so presume in Ireland. Do not have access to Irish census.... sorry.

Hi All
Have just found a Samuel Edgar on Irish 1901/11 censi and wondered if anyone could find him for me in 1891. He has children born in England so should be with family in 1891.

Details :-

Samuel Edgar, born abt 1858, Kirkinner, Scotland
Sarah Edgar, born abt 1858, Ireland
Mary Elizabeth Edgar, born abt 1885, England
Amy Edith Edgar, born abt 1887, England.

I am trying to determine that the one I have found in 1901 is mine and was born in Kirkinner so if someone could find him in 1891 there might be a place of birth stated.

Samuel Edgar married Sarah Wills in 1883, Kensington and was a servant in Kingston on Thames in 1881 so would probably still be around that area.

Hope I have given you enough to go on and will be very grateful for anything foundCheers Clare
