Looks like drier to me. A bacon dryer would cure bacon. |

Could some kind soul try to read the occupation for a James Pike born 1827 in Chart Sutton, Kent on the 1871 census. The first word looks like Bacon but the only thing I keeping thinking of for the second word is 'Spice'. Not sure if it's related to Posh and Baby lol. |
