searching birth records

can anyone tell me is there a way to search the 1984-2005 by the year like the other previous years can be looked at

not on Ancestry now they have transcribed them all
Although you can go a long winded way around by opening up a name on a birth year looking at the actual GRO page and then scroll around but its Very time consuming

you can look at the actual names by putting in a minimum of info . for instance if you only know a mmn you can search just on that.

After 1983, the GRO index went computerized, so there's no transcribing involved.
