Rose,

With her name being quite common, I had a list of about 30 possible marriages for her. I didn't want to apply for that many certs as the cost would be ridiculous, so I telephoned the registry at Southport

I gave the person I spoke to all the details from Susans Birth certificate and she told me the last time her nhs number had been used was in 1990 and gave me the name she used at the time, which was susan warford.

From that I applied for the Milner/warford marriage cert and her details were the same...fathers name etc.
