I was lucky enough to get in touch with 2, 2nd cousins of my husband and between us we had loads of family photo's and documents, bert certs etc. One of them has spent a few months compiling a photo document that he is in the process of printing to send to us both so we have a private 'hardcopy'. Also when my husband and I went to 2 war cemeteries last year, I sent them both a copy of all the photo's I took, with an index and a printed copy of all info from the CWGC site. When put together in a form of document it not only looks impressive but give something for people to look at and to pass down the family. I put my photo's and documents into a memory album. |

Must admit I do like photos you can hold - must be my age! |

I was invited to "help myself" to some wonderful old photos of ancestors on an Ancestry tree. I right clicked and sent the photos to My Pictures. Then I printed them. They take pride of place in a photo album. |

Managed it! Clicked on photo, then to the left was an option "add to another tree". Eureka! |

On ancestry, you just go to the photo in question and then click on "add to my tree" - something like that - its instant and very easy. Im assuming you have an ancestry tree though? |

Not that much different on GR. If you add a photo then any member who has access to your tree can download it to their PC. |

Thanks for replying Chris. I shall try that - without guilt as I am invited! |

Hi folks - please can you advise me? A relative has invited me to their tree on Ancestry and kindly says I can help myself to the photos on there. Is this possible though, and if so how? |
