Just looking at this again - if you are talking about births then it does seem you are out of luck as only marriages were recorded before 1864. |

In 1845, legislation came into force which provided for the registration of civil marriages in Ireland and for the regulation of all non-Catholic marriages. |

I have several ancestors born in Ireland and would like to obtain the birth certificates of those born after registration began, I know that family search pilot has now got birth registrations in Ireland from 1864 but please could anyone tell me if it is possible to obtain a birth certificate from around 1852. I dont have a certain area, only Ireland. |
