TheLadyInRed Report 8 Mar 2010 20:09

Through various efforts I wrote to who I thought was my great aunt the other day.
Turns out the address wasn't her but that of my second cousin who I've never met.
She's left a message on my answerphone today suggesting that we meet. She lives less than 20 miles away from me.
I'm blown away! I reckon she is the same age as me so no generational gap to overcome but I'm also really nervous - what do you talk about? Do I take family photos with me to first meeting?
Anyone else gone through this? Any advice? Am I hoping for too much to hope that we might become friends?
