I think my g.grandfather fought in the Boer War but can't find any information regarding this war. Does anybody have any ideas please. |

I cannot understand this fixation with Google. If you put what you are looking for in any decent search engine it will find it. To look at anything to do with the Army, look at Kevin Asplin, there is a fund of information. The site is very interesting. He did some research for me regarding my GGrandad, for a small fee, and I received all the army paperwork. |

Ann and Bob,206719,at W 0°16'53.25'',N 52°35' 59 just to let you know how thrilled I was to receive the papers yesterday of my g.grandfather and gg grandfather from Kevin Asplin. I only paid him on Wednesday!! Fantastic service and I will certainly use him again when necessary. |

I found some Boer War army records for my relative on Ancestry under British Army WWI Service Records, 1914-1920, even though he never served in WW1. |

I have also found a relative in the Chelsea Pensioners records even though he was only in the army for 22 days before he purchased his own discharge!!!! |
