I am trying to find the maiden name of the wife of Thomas Richmond 1829, born Crosshills. Skipton, North Yorkshire. On the 1861 census he is married to Ellen she is four years older than him and was born Glusburn, Skipton, North Yorkshire. I am not sure if Ellen is her first name as I was given the name M. Clark as Thomas's wife but I cannot trace this. The spelling of Clark could also be wrong? if that is the correct surname. I tried to look at the 1851 census but I cannot make out what it says. Thomas was living with in-laws on this census. |

Thank you all for your help. This has helped me a great deal. The surprise here was Thomas's sister Martha Richmond, I had no idea there were any off spring from Martha. I could only trace her as single and made the nistake of not connecting children to her. |
