Why do people ask for help, if when you add to the thread they quickly delete it before you can see wether it was correct or not ???grrrrr

I helped on a thread last week, Friday or saturday ,the poster wanted to find marriage details for his gr grandparents..fullnames escape me but the husbands name was Joseph, and the wife was born in Winslow Cheshire, according to the 1911 Census., they had been married for 8 years..........

Well I did a lot of digging on it, and came up with a marriage around 1915, with husbands name correct and wifes 1st name matched......... I then painstakingly went through the 1901 census, ...it took me ages, and I manage to find what I thought was the wife, born Winslow cheshire working as a servant..the name matched the lady in the marriage i`d found.... I C and P`d the 1901 census and explained that i thought this later marriage was the one he was looking for because of the information I`d found to back it up.

Have had computer/internet problems since Saturday and have only got back online in the last couple of hours.....and would you belive it the thread has gone........ So please if you are that person...were my findings correct?


OK Moan over now...but i did spend a lot of time on it, so why delete it so soon??
