First of all do you have a family tree program on your PC? If not then this is the first thing you need to get organised. |

If she entered it into a family tree type program on her PC, or entered it into an online site like this one, then there'll be an option to export the tree as a gedcom. Get her to export it, and send you a copy of that gedcom. Any family tree type program and this site can import a gedcom. (Before you let folk look at it online, you should make some effort to hide living relatives.) |

Can someone please explain this jargon? Im brand new to this and would like to know what you are all talking about. I have seen the option but would like to know what it does before i try it. |
