Yes this is the same family. The problem is I cannot find John & Mary Kay in 1891 (of course they could have died). Two of their children John15 & Ellen 11 were with Mary's sister Ellen Langdale & family in Scarborough in 1891. |

I am trying to find John Kay 47 stonemason b. Ripon; Mary Kaye wife 32 fishmonger b. Scarborough; Ada dau 14 b. Manchester and possibly other children on the 1891 census. Thanks to Dee who found them on 1881 for me mistranscribed as Ray. They were then living at 83 Upper Moss Lane (mistranscribed as Boss Lane) Hulme Manchester. Ages are their 1891 ages. |
